Waitrose is the main supermarket on Marylebone High Street and acts as a prestigious hub for the business and domestic communities in London’s Marylebone Village, with a delicatessen and rotisserie amongst its offerings. The store fixtures concept was originally carried out in-house.

What Waitrose wanted

As the Marylebone High Street store is in such a key location, Waitrose asked if Quantum 4 could make any improvements to the current store fixtures. We are adept at working in conjunction with in-house development teams. In this case we could add the final touches that would make what was already a very attractive interior into the ultimate go-to venue for discerning Londoners.

What Q4 created

We identified the key elements that could be improved by value-engineering and subsequently re-designed and prototyped the store with a view to rolling out across the estate. We completed five trial stores to the client’s satisfaction and provided a comprehensive tender pack.

What we achieved

Thanks to our expertise in design and production techniques, we managed to reduce the target rollout cost by more than 50%. We are now proud to have achieved preferred development supplier status with Waitrose and look forward to further commissions.
