Q4 have a good track record of working with retail branding experts to add the finishing touches to complex schemes. We were invited to partner with Beyond Communications to develop a new fashion lifestyle range for Lotus Cars. Two different formats were required to meet dealership and flagship specifications, as well as launch at an international motor show.

What Lotus wanted

The Lotus Originals range was inspired by the brand’s racing heritage. They needed design and development of fixtures for store interiors to show off their latest models, which were just as much about cars as they were about the dealership fashion sector.

What Q4 created

We evolved a sustainable design, utilising mixed materials including glass, plastic, wood, metal and GRP. Bespoke fixtures reflected the aerodynamic line of the cars, which were complemented by soft furnishings and subtle leather detailing.

What we achieved

Unusually for Q4, we had to bypass the prototype phase in order to fast-track the equipment for launching at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We also organised a successful launch of the first Lotus dealership fashion clothing offer. It took us just five weeks from development approval to trial installation.
