Since it’s founding in 1993, Orange rose to become a world player in mobile telecommunications products and services. Prior to phasing into EE in 2015, Orange was instrumental in developing new ideas for the delivery of multimedia concepts, and Quantum 4 were an integral element in the development of those new store programmes.

What Orange wanted

Orange retained Quinine Interior Design for many years as their preferred consultancy for developing new concepts in phone retailing interiors. This scheme involved the delivery of a new franchise, community outlet concepts and an HMV concession.

What Q4 created

Q4 supplied all concept development, prototypes, equipment design and development for trial store implementation. This involved extensive use of leading edge technology throughout the fast-track project, whereby three further trial stores were developed for the HMV concession concept, followed by 17 initial rollout stores.

What we achieved

We completed the franchise store rollout at 30% below the target price. The HMV project was taken from concept to trial installations in only eight weeks.
