ADDING APPEAL TO VM AT NEXT

24th Nov 2017

The Next retail chain started in 1982 as an outlet purely for women’s clothes, shoes and accessories. But as the retail scene diversified, they also quickly ventured into ranges for men, children and the home. Today, the quality of visual merchandising is crucial in differentiating Next from its competitors in an increasingly bland looking high street.

What Next wanted

Home and beauty is still ranked as foremost in the appeal of a Next store. They asked Quantum 4 to apply our design talents to freshening the look of various departments throughout their ever-diversifying portfolio of product ranges. By choosing us, they intend to match VM professionalism to the aspirational out-of-town architecture that the company is now developing across its 500 stores.

What Q4 created

Tactical design, development, tender packs and implementation all fall within the remit of Q4’s service to the retail world. We used this experience to develop bespoke solutions for the beauty and grooming department and home departments, as well as childrenswear signage and VM schemes across the store.

What we achieved

Q4’s ability to look at any scheme with a fresh, new approach has endeared us to the Next team, so much so that we have been awarded preferred development supplier status for forthcoming projects.
